Lobbi is at the earliest stage of its life, and that’s intentional. Rather than waiting until everything feels finished or perfect, it felt more important to get the idea out into the open and let it grow through use, discussion, and feedback.

At its core, Lobbi is a place for people to engage with politics in a way that feels human. That might mean: telling your own story asking questions you don’t feel comfortable asking elsewhere exploring opinions different from your own sharing knowledge or experience or simply having a rant — because sometimes that’s needed too There’s no requirement to be an expert, polished, or even certain. Politics affects all of us in different ways, and too often the spaces to talk about it are either hostile, overly performative, or inaccessible. Lobbi is an attempt to create something simpler: a space to talk, listen, and reflect.

Why Lobbi exists
Many political platforms prioritise noise over understanding, certainty over curiosity, and outrage over nuance. This site is an experiment in doing the opposite. Lobbi isn’t about winning arguments or pushing people into corners. It’s about creating room for: lived experience alongside data uncertainty alongside opinion disagreement without dehumanisation Whether you’re deeply engaged in politics or just trying to make sense of what’s happening around you, there should be space for that here. This is version one Because the site is new, things will change. Features may be missing. Some ideas may not work. Others might emerge through how people actually use the platform rather than how it was originally imagined. Feedback is actively encouraged. If something feels confusing, limiting, or unnecessary — say so. If you have an idea that could make this space more useful, safer, or more engaging — share it. If something doesn’t sit right — that’s important information too. This site is not finished. It’s being shaped. An invitation Lobbi only works if people use it honestly.
