Lobbi is Jersey's interactive news outlet: a place to follow what's happening on the Island, see the decisions being made in your name, and have a real say in them. Here's what you can do, and why we built it.
Welcome to Lobbi.
We started Lobbi for a simple reason: Jersey deserves news it can not only read, but take part in. Plenty happens on this Island in any given week — decisions in the States Assembly, choices made by ministers, changes that affect your parish, your pocket, and your family. Too much of it passes by quietly, in language that's hard to follow, with no obvious way for ordinary Islanders to respond. Lobbi is built to change that. We report Jersey's news, and then we hand you the tools to engage with it.
Read the news — and dig deeper
Our newsroom covers Jersey stories and, where it matters, goes further than the headline: setting out what's known, what isn't, and what still needs answering. Every original story we publish cites its sources, so you can see where the information comes from and judge it for yourself. You'll also find us watching the machinery of government — the written and oral questions asked in the States Assembly, how members vote, and the ministerial decisions that are so often the most important things never properly explained to the public.

Start something — Campaigns
If you think something needs to change, you can start a Campaign: a clear ask, aimed at whoever can actually make it happen. Other Islanders back it and share their own experiences, we gather the evidence — related news, polls and documents — and, when the support is there, a campaign can be formally put to government and the response tracked in the open. It's a bit like a crowdfunder, but instead of money you're gathering support, evidence and voices behind a single, specific change.

Our Elected Officials directory lets you see the members of the States Assembly, and Lobbi keeps an eye on what they ask, how they vote, and the decisions taken on your behalf.
